Each year Council 4874 awards 4 seniors the local Catholic Youth Leadership Award (CYLA). Local CYLA Chairman, Jeff Lesaicherre does an excellent job of parsing through many applications to select 4 winners based on the five key criteria of Spirituality, Scholastic achievement, Civic engagement, Athletic participation and General Leadership Achievement.
Each winner receives a $500 scholarship award and a plaque recognizing their achievements. This year’s winners were Glenn Hanna, Lawson Raiford, Noah Palisi and Brody Smith. Congratulations to this year’s winners and best of luck to next years applicants.
